Mermaids
Mermaids supports transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children and young people until their 20th birthday, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care. They also currently offer web chat support to students up to the age of 25.

Gendered Intelligence
Gendered Intelligence, established in 2008, is a registered charity that exists to increase understandings of gender diversity and improve trans people's quality of life.

They are a trans-led and trans-involving grassroots organisation with a wealth of lived experience, community connections of many kinds, and a depth and breadth of trans community knowledge that is second to none.

Founded on March 4th 1974, Switchboard’s information and support helpline operated for five hours every evening in a small room above a bookshop near Kings Cross Station.

They're here to help you with whatever you want to talk about. Nothing is off limits, and they understand how anxious you might feel before you pick up the phone.

MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer people.

They work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ communities and to make mental health a community concern

akt supports lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the uk who are experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. They help LGBTQ+ young people find safe homes and can support with things like employment, education and training, in an environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities.

FFLAG
FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity. We are dedicated to supporting parents and families and their LGBT+ members.

We offer support to local parents groups and contacts in their efforts to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members with love and pride.
