Advice for businesses on supporting transgender and non-binary people in workplace facilities
Trans in the City have been working extremely hard over the last few weeks and months to provide what we see as the most accurate and pragmatic methods to support your trans and non-binary employees, staff and customers.
Today in conjunction with the wonderful team at INvolve and with the aid of Robin White KC and many employment law professionals that kindly gave their services pro-bono we are releasing our latest guidance.
It provides what we believe is the best solution to supporting your staff; both trans and non-binary and those who do not wish to share facilities because of reasons of belief, viewpoint or any other reason. We also believe it provides the solution that is the lowest risk of litigation and breach of data protection laws.
We will be selectively releasing this today to our sponsors and other not for profit groups, general release will be on the 14th November ahead of our Gala and Awards.
There is an accompanying training course, available only through Trans in the City - “Trans and Toilets, Flushing Out the Truth” - that will be available free to all employees of our sponsors.
The first session of this will be 14th November 11:30-12:30, details of how to join, along with our other extensive suite of sponsor only Trans Awareness Training and other awareness session will be released imminently.
