Create a powerful piece that showcases the vibrancy, resilience, and beauty of the trans+ community while highlighting the strength of allyship and inclusivity.

What we're looking for.

We're inviting artwork that celebrates trans+ joy, pride and allyship. Your piece can explore a personal story or a universal experience - anything that reflects positivity, connection and community.

All art forms are welcome, including:

  • Photography

  • Painting

  • Sculpture

  • Digital art

  • Mixed media

  • And more

Selected works will be exhibited in London during Trans Awareness Week.

Artwork Auction

All submitted artworks will be entered into an auction following the exhibition, unless the artist chooses to opt out.

  • 90% of auction proceeds will go directly to the artist.

  • 10% of auction proceeds will support Trans in the City and its work.

If you do not wish for your artwork to be included in the auction, please indicate this during the submission process.

Submission guidelines

  • Physical artwork: You'll need to arrange delivery if your piece is selected.

  • Digital artwork: Files intended for print must be at least 300dpi.

How to submit

Complete the submission form and email photos or videos of your artwork to media@transinthecity.co.uk.

Please note: Due to logistics, we can only accept digital submissions (e.g. photography or digital artwork) from artists based outside the UK.

30th September
Let us know if you plan to submit an artwork by filling in the submission form or sending us an email.

20th October
Final deadline to submit your artwork.

We'll contact you after the submission deadline to let you know if your artwork has been selected for the exhibition.

We're looking for artwork that celebrates trans+ joy, pride, and allyship through authentic and inspiring creative expression.

Your work might tell a personal story, explore a shared experience, or use symbolism to capture the power of identity, connection, community and support. We encourage submissions that embrace intersectionality and reflect the richness and diversity of trans+ experiences.

There are no restrictions on medium or style - we're excited to see your unique perspective.

Eligibility

  • New and existing artworks are welcome.

  • There are no size restrictions, although very large pieces may require additional logistical planning.

What to submit

Please email the following to media@transinthecity.co.uk by the submission deadline:

  • At least five high-resolution images of your artwork

  • One short video of the piece

  • Your completed submission form

For large files, please use WeTransfer. We'll confirm when we've received your submission.

If your artwork is selected, you'll be responsible for arranging delivery of any physical pieces.
