Trans in the City are proud to announce the launch of the Trans in the City Changemakers List.

This inaugural Trans and Non-Binary Changemakers List shines a spotlight on and celebrates the individuals making a meaningful difference within the trans and non-binary community - those driving change, building inclusive spaces and supporting others across business, not-for-profits and grassroots organisations throughout the UK.

Bobbi Pickard. CEO of Trans in the City said:

“It gives me such joy to release the inaugural Trans in the City Changemakers List, released on Trans Day of Visibility 2026, as a celebration of the trans and non-binary people that work so tirelessly helping the trans community in business, not-for-profits and community organisations throughout the UK.

These are the unsung champions, the people too busy and too humble to shout about the work they do and their achievements, those who help improve trans and non-binary people’s lives and wellbeing, in some cases truly saving lives, without expecting attention or gratitude.

Today we highlight them and give thanks to them for being the positive role models not just for our community but for all society.”

This list shines a light on those who are so often overlooked. The work they do is extraordinary, yet rarely celebrated - they are simply too busy making change, supporting others, and doing what needs to be done to pause and seek recognition.

The list will be celebrated at a special launch event powered by Lumiére London, with support from Channel 4 and Pall Mall Medical, bringing together community members, allies and partners to honour this year’s Changemakers.
